During my time in Florence, I had the privilege of working with Le Fonticine, a historic restaurant that has recently undergone a thoughtful renovation. Established in 1939, Le Fonticine has long been cherished by both travelers and locals for its intimate, elegant atmosphere.
The recent updates have infused the restaurant with a renewed freshness while preserving its classic charm. Under the stewardship of new owner Alex, restaurant manager Alcide, and Chef Diego Babboni, Le Fonticine has been beautifully restored to its former glory. This revitalization honors its storied past while continuing to offer an inviting and refined dining experience in the heart of Florence.
